Square Weave
Square meshes are meshes made of stainless steel or other combinations of materials.
At GKD, they are produced in plain weave (1/1) or twilled weave (2/2). Intelligent combinations of materials are used in hybrid meshes to optimize the properties. DIN ISO 9044 for industrial woven wire cloth represents the basis for their manufacture. This standard is not only met, but also surpassed in all products manufactured at GKD's production facilities.
In the standard portfolio, apertures range from 0.025 mm to 14 mm. Depending on the aperture, the manufactured widths are between 1.3 m and 3 m. Custom meshes can also be produced up to a width of 8.1 m. The standard materials are 1.4401/1.4404 and 1.4301/1.4306 stainless steels.
